The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is one of the most significant and longest-lived of the currently active space probes. Beyond its rich sceince harvest, its images have captured the international public's imagination like no other space telescope. In its influence on public perception it is arguably the Apollo of our age. NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center has awarded the contract for the creation of the official post-launch history of the HST and supporting HST historical archive to Foresight Science & Technology. The Foresight team will be lead by Canadian space historian and RASC Second Vice President Dr. Chris Gainor, and includes John D. Ruley, M.S., and Dr. Arendt Speser.

We congratulate Chris, and look forward to the HST history, and historical archive.
