The Life Cycle of Massive Stars

This talk will explore the evolution of massive stars, starting from their birth to how they end their life in the form of a supernova.

Adaeze Ibik is a PhD student in the David A. Dunlap Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. She is from the eastern part of Nigeria in Africa where she earned her Bachelors and Masters in Physics, both from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. One of the reasons for her research is to understand the universe and create awareness of our origin as humans through science communication.
