Beatrice Winifred Welling (1888–1968) was a Canadian librarian specializing in government publications. She won two gold medals for her B.A. at the University of New Brunswick, followed by an M.A. from Radcliffe College at Harvard and a B.Sc. from Simmons College (which became Simmons University in 2018). Beatrice co-authored the first book on library science published in Canada. In 1940, Welling contributed a collection of astronomy-themed poetry to H.R. Kingston, Director of the Cronyn Observatory at Western University, and this collection was published in 2023 by Mark Tovey as "A Cosmic Treasury: Seeing the Sky Through Poets' Eyes."
