Neil Percival Young (b. 1945) is a Canadian-American musician, singer and songwriter. Active since 1963, Young is known for his high tenor voice, his guitar work and a combination of folk, rock, country and other musical genres. In addition to his extensive musical work, Young is an activist for environmental and humanitarian issues.
