Rachel Friesen (b. 1979) is a Canadian astronomer and Assistant Professor at the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on the analysis of the structure and composition of dense gas in star-forming
molecular clouds through observations at multiple single-dish and interferometer telescope facilities.
