Leopoldo Infante (b.1955) is a Chilean astronomer and the current director of Las Campanas Observatory. Leopoldo Infante is a former graduate student of the University of Victoria (Canada) and a staff scientist at Carnegie Science and has made major
contributions to the field of observational cosmology.
