Luc Simard (b. 1968) is the Canadian Director General of the Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre of the National Research Council Canada. His research interests include galaxy formation and evolution, digital image processing, and
astronomical instrumentation. Luc is a former graduate student at the University of Victoria.
