David Takayoshi Suzuki (b. 1936) is a Canadian geneticist and science communicator. Suzuki studied at Amherst College, earned his PhD in zoology from the University of Chicago and was a professor at the University of British Columbia. He hosted the radio program Quirks & Quarks and the television series The Nature of Things, and has won the Kalinga Prize.
