Asteroid (177667) Schieven

Gerald Henry Moriarty Schieven (b. 1958) is a Canadian astronomer who obtained his PhD at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Gerald was President of the RASC London Centre in 1980. He has worked at JPL, the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope and the Herzberg Millimetre Astronomy Group.

Asteroid (175203) Kingston

Harold Reynolds Kingston (born at Picton, Ontario, 1885; died at London, Ontario, 1963-02-10) was the founder of the London Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Kingston did his B.A. and M.A. at Queen's University, then taught high school in Indianapolis for five years while also working on his PhD from the University of Chicago. He was a member of the staff in the Department of Mathematics and Astronomy at the University of Manitoba from 1914 to 1921 and active in the RASC Winnipeg Centre.

Asteroid (612163) Thelowes

Thomas (b. 1959) and Clare (b. 1963) Lowe are dear friends of the second discoverer. Thomas is a professional astronomer and currently works at the University of Hawaii, Institute for Astronomy, Advanced Technology Research Center in Pukalani, Hawaii, as an observer for the Pan-STARRS project. Clare is a noted artist and graphic designer.
