- Specimen displays discernible horsetailing (lightly to moderately well-defined striae), indications of a cross-sectional curve, and apical features;
- Obscuring yellowish light-brown weathering product over most of the faces. Fractures reveal the characteristic light and dark foliated bands of the underlying rock;
