RASC Victoria Centre and the Friends of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory

Guest Speakers:  Dr. Chris Willott   Senior Research Officer at the DAO 
                                                           Principal Investigator for Cycle 1 Observing programs on the JWST
                             Presentation:        "JWST: Ready for Launch!"
                             and
                            Dr. Matt Taylor     Research Astronomer at Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics, 
                                                          Principal Investigator on the JWST looking for motions of stars within galaxies for evidence of Super Massive Black                                                              Holes  "lurking" in their cores. 
                            Presentation:        "Do Massive Black Holes Come in Small Packages?"

Additions to the Program will include: What's Up in the Sky with Astrophotos of the Lunar Eclipse
                                                            Ask an Astronomer (or two or three!)
                                                            Live streaming Electronically Assisted Astronomy with our EAA group in the RASC Victoria Centre
