photograph (by 17 days, on March 29.24) was taken through Mr. Newton’s 40 cm f/5 reflector on Ektachrome 400, and shows the magnitude 14.8 supernova immediately to the right of the galaxy’s nucleus on the evening of 29 March
1982.
