A page in a scrapbook at National Office contains 8 Mars sketches and 8 dates/times/seeing ratings each on a piece of paper. Unfortunately, 7 of each of these have come unglued from the page. (There's a lesson in that somewhere!) So here is a challenge for all you sketchers and Mars observers out there: can you figure out which sketch goes with which date?
- 1958 Nov 01 @ 22:00 EST, seeing 5
- 1958 Nov 02 @ 21:30 EST, seeing 4
- 1958 Nov 04 @ 21:00 EST, seeing 2-3
- 1958 Nov 09 @ 21:00 EST, seeing 4
- 1958 Nov 12 @ 20:00 EST, seeing 2
- 1958 Nov 22 @ 20:00 EST, seeing 3
- 1958 Nov 27 @ 21:00 EST, seeing 5
The challenge has been met by Geoff Gaherty, and in a very short time. Thanks Geoff!
