Asteroid (10086) McCurdy

Bruce Jefferson McCurdy (b. 1955-10-13) was an amateur astronomer in Edmonton, Canada. He was an experienced observer and an accomplished communicator who won the RASC Service Award in 2007 for his contributions to outreach in the community and to the RASC's publications, as well as his leadership.
Bruce passed away 2025-04-02 in Edmonton.

Asteroid (10085) Jekennedy

John Edward Kennedy (1916-1999) was a physicist who studied at Queen's University and McGill University. He worked with the University of New Brunswick, the Defence Research Medical Laboratory and the University of Saskatchewan. Meteor studies were among his research interests. He was a charter member of the Canadian Astronomical Society.

Asteroid (10083) Gordonanderson

Gordon "Jay" Anderson (b. 1947) is a former meteorologist and an eclipsophile. He investigates weather prospects for total solar eclipses, authored books on meteorology and astronomy, and served as Editor of the Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada for 10 years. He chaired the host committee of three RASC General Assembly events.

Asteroid (10082) Bronson

Ted Arthur Bronson (b. 1952) lived in Thunder Bay, Canada, and helped found the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Thunder Bay Centre in 1988. He served on the club executive of Thunder Bay Centre in every post, including president, and won a RASC Service Award in 2006. He presented outreach programs and traveled to six total solar eclipses.

Asteroid (10081) Dantaylor

Daniel Taylor (b. 1958-07-03 in Windsor, Ontario,) is an amateur astronomer in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Dan served as president of the RASC Windsor Centre from 1991 to 1993 and has worked to develop standards in support of light pollution abatement at the national level in Canada as well as to implement those standards locally in Windsor. Dan has been a member of the  American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) since the late 1980's and has contributed over 20,000 visual observations.

William MacDonald "Mac" Evans (b. 1942) was born in Sarnia, Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies at Queen’s University and earned a MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He was President of the Canadian Space Agency (1994–2001), won the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal and is a Member of the Order of Canada.
